Basketball Recap: Indianola Comes Up Short

Indianola was the 37-32 winner over Norwalk when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Indianola Indians took a 74-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Norwalk Warriors on Friday.

Indianola has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.2 points per game. As for Norwalk, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-8.

Indianola will face off against A-D-M on Monday. One thing working in A-D-M's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups. As for Norwalk, they will square off against Dallas Center-Grimes at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dallas Center-Grimes will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Norwalk surely won't give up without a fight.
