Soccer Recap: Brandeis Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Brandeis, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They won by a goal and slipped past the Cypress Woods Wildcats 1-0. For the Broncos, this counts as revenge for the 3-2 victory the Wildcats walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2015.

Brandeis' one-goal win came courtesy of Tessa Fontenot, which was the first she's scored this season.

Brandeis now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Cypress Woods, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Brandeis wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Klein Collins on the 4th. As for Cypress Woods, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Round Rock on the 4th.
