Soccer Recap: Forge Christian Comes Up Short

Forge Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Stargate School Eagles. The game got a bit rough at times, as the refs handed out a total of three yellow cards before it was all over: Forge Christian's Bella Brodbeck and Stargate School's Alysah Messenger and Quinlin Cole were all carded.

Forge Christian's loss dropped their record down to 3-5-2. As for Stargate School, the victory got them back to even at 5-5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Forge Christian will challenge rival Denver Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Stargate School is set to take on their familiar foe The Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
