Greenville Tech Charter barely beat Carolina Academy the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Warriors put the hurt on the Trojans with a sharp 18-8 win on Monday. Considering the Warriors have won five matches by more than nine runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Greenville Tech Charter's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-9. As for Carolina Academy, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Greenville Tech Charter will challenge Chesnee at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so the Warriors' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Carolina Academy, they are taking a road trip to take on Southside Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Sabres will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Trojans surely won't give up without a fight.
