Basketball Game Preview: Addison Knights vs. Andover Panthers

The Addison Knights will face off against the Andover Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing isn't great for Addison: they have been struggling with three straight losses at home, while Andover has snatched up six consecutive wins on the road.

Addison is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They came up short against Haverling on Tuesday, falling 63-38. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 552nd, while the Rams are ranked 274th).

While Andover didn't have the best season last year (they finished 3-16-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They walked away with a 49-38 victory over Bolivar-Richburg on Thursday.

Andover's win bumped their record up to 9-1. As for Addison, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-7.
