With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 15.8 points per game.

Another player making a difference was Tye Clay, who went 10 for 18 on his way to 24 points. He is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last four games he's played.

When it comes to explaining why Bessemer City lost, don't look at Josiah Guyton. Despite the final result, he went 11 of 14 en route to 31 points and six rebounds. The dominant performance gave Guyton a new career-high in points. Raheem Mcclure was another key player, going 9 for 17 on his way to 19 points and five boards.

Burns is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Bessemer City, they dropped their record down to 10-6 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.
