West Salem came tearing into Wednesday's game with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 16 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Southridge Skyhawks. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Titans have posted since March 25th.

West Salem's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for Southridge, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-5.

West Salem and Southridge will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Titans will challenge rival McNary at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Southridge is set to take on their familiar foe Beaverton at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
