Volleyball Recap: Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park Comes Up Short

Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Beacon Academy Trailblazers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hawks of the 2-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-15.

Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Beacon Academy, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Horizon Science Academy McKinley Park will challenge Kelly at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Beacon Academy, they will face off against Lycee Francais de Chicago at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
