Softball Recap: Silver Stage Takes a Loss

Silver Stage was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 17-0 to the Battle Mountain Longhorns. Surprisingly, this marked the third straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Silver Stage's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Battle Mountain, the win keeps them at an undefeated 5-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Silver Stage will challenge Incline at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Silver Stage is facing Incline at the right time seeing as Incline is stuck on a three-game losing streak. Battle Mountain will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Oasis Academy at 4:00 p.m. on March 21st. Battle Mountain knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Oasis Academy likes a good challenge.
