Volleyball Recap: Walsenburg Comes Up Short

Walsenburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Crowley County Chargers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Chargers this season, with their most recent defeat being a 3-1 loss back in September.

While Walsenburg was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-22, 25-13, 25-9.

Walsenburg's defeat dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Crowley County, their win bumped their record up to 7-11.

Walsenburg wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against Montbello on the 25th. As for Crowley County, they will challenge Wiley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
