Softball Game Preview: Minnehaha Academy Red Hawks vs. Highland Park Scots

The Minnehaha Academy Red Hawks will head out to face off against the Highland Park Scots at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Minnehaha Academy is coming into the match on a six-game losing streak.

Minnehaha Academy came up short against Visitation on Thursday, falling 9-2.

Minnehaha Academy saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Eva Affeldt, who went 1-for-4 with one stolen base and one run. Juliette Smith also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Meanwhile, after soaring to ten runs the game before, Highland Park was a bit more limited in their contest on Thursday. They lost 12-2 to Kennedy. The Scots have struggled against the Eagles recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Highland Park's loss dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Minnehaha Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-10.
