Soccer Recap: Veterans Memorial Takes a Loss

Veterans Memorial was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 4-0 to the New Braunfels Unicorns. The game was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Patriots couldn't quite close it out.

Veterans Memorial's loss dropped their record down to 5-14. As for New Braunfels, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-7.

Looking ahead, Veterans Memorial will head out to take on Wagner at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for New Braunfels, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Smithson Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Smithson Valley will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something New Braunfels surely won't give up without a fight.
