Underclassman Tori Buglass came into Monday's matchup looking to prove herself and that's exactly what she did. She wasn't messing around on Monday, pitching 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. The pitching appearance was her sixth straight with one or fewer earned runs.

Buglass' strong effort led Johnson Creek over Palmyra-Eagle and she'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
