Basketball Game Preview: Panguitch Bobcats vs. Beaver Dam Diamondback

The Panguitch Bobcats will square off against the Beaver Dam Diamondback at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Panguitch is probably headed into the match with a chip on their shoulder considering Duchesne just ended the team's four-game winning streak on Saturday. They took a 44-26 bruising from the Eagles. The Bobcats were down 35-15 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, Beaver Dam didn't have quite enough to beat Amplus Academy last Saturday and fell 22-20.

Beaver Dam's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Panguitch, their loss ended a nine-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 8-3.

Everything came up roses for Panguitch against Beaver Dam when the teams last played back in January, as the squad secured a 52-17 win. Will Panguitch repeat their success, or does Beaver Dam have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
