Central Connecticut II West recap Oct. 9, 2012

Middletown extended the longest winning streak in Central Connecticut II West this week by beating Wethersfield, 41-7. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Blue Dragons.

Maloney took down Bulkeley 50-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.

Windsor's ROBERT QUINN FLEETING and RASHAD RAMSEY have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. FLEETING has thrown for 750 yards this season, while RAMSEY, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 11 catches for 251 yards. Ivan Guadalupe from Farmington leads the league in rushing with 350 yards.

Middletown made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 3,957 from 4,628. The improvement came about via a 41-7 victory over the Eagles last week.
