Volleyball Recap: Alivia George and Jordan Kaplan Secure Win for Walled Lake Northern

The Walled Lake Northern Knights narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Haslett Vikings 2-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.

Leading Walled Lake Northern to victory were Jordan Kaplan and Alivia George. Kaplan had 17 assists and nine digs, while George had seven digs and four aces. Those four aces gave George a new career-high.

Walled Lake Northern's victory bumped their record up to 17-12-1. As for Haslett, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-19-1.

Walled Lake Northern didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against South Lyon on the 25th. As for Haslett, they will square off against Fowlerville at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
