Softball Recap: Lewisville's Win on Tuesday Extends Winning Streak to Two

Lewisville won the last time they faced Great Falls and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Lions never let the Red Devils get on the board and left with a 16-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won nine games by seven runs or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Lewisville and bumps their season record up to 15-3. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 1-8 Great Falls and 2-4 Lee Central. As for Great Falls, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the loss, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Lewisville will face off against Buford at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Yellow Jackets will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something the Lions surely won't give up without a fight. As for Great Falls, they will take on Lee Central at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
