Football Recap: WF West Takes a Loss + How To Watch

WF West and Franklin Pierce squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but WF West had to settle for second. They took a hard 36-21 fall against the Cardinals. The Bearcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Cardinals apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Franklin Pierce's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bryson Allen, who rushed for 145 yards and three TDs. Allen's rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 145 rushing yards. Ja'Mire Ford also helped out as he racked up 124 rushing yards.

WF West's defeat dropped their record down to 8-3. As for Franklin Pierce, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-2.

WF West does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Franklin Pierce, they will take on Tumwater on Friday. The Cardinals will need to watch out since the Thunderbirds have now posted at least 31 points in their last nine matchups.
