Basketball Recap: Northern Michigan Christian Takes a Loss

Northern Michigan Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They took a 62-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Houghton Lake Bobcats. The Comets were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bobcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Northern Michigan Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Houghton Lake, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-5.

Northern Michigan Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 77-55 loss against Evart on the 17th. Houghton Lake has also already played their next match, a 72-35 defeat against Beal City on the 17th.
