Baseball Recap: Bishop Mccort Now 6-2 over Last Eight Games

Bishop McCort took a ten-run defeat the last time they faced off against Bellefonte, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Crushers had just enough and edged out the Raiders 6-5 on Wednesday. For the Crushers, this counts as revenge for the 11-1 win the Raiders walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Bishop McCort has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Bellefonte, their record is now 6-6.

Looking ahead, Bishop McCort will head out to challenge Somerset at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Crushers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Eagles have averaged an impressive 10.1 runs per game this season. As for Bellefonte, they will square off against State College at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Little Lions will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Raiders surely won't give up without a fight.
