Recap: East Valley Knights vs. Sandpoint Bulldogs
The East Valley Knights lost against the Sandpoint Bulldogs back in December of 2022, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. East Valley was dealt a 80-14 defeat at the hands of Sandpoint. East Valley was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-10.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Sandpoint to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jordyn Tomco, who scored 22 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals. Aliya Strock was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with 3 steals.
This is the second loss in a row for East Valley and nudges their season record down to 0-2. As for Sandpoint, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. East Valley will take on Bonners Ferry at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Sandpoint, they will be playing at home against Coeur d'Alene at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Coeur d'Alene has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 186 points over their last three contests.
