Basketball Recap: Mt. Zion Takes Loss Despite Strong Efforts from Avery Butler and Jaylan Davidson + How To Watch

Mt. Zion played a tough matchup on Tuesday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 74-53 to the Bremen Blue Devils. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blue Devils apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2024.

Despite the defeat, Mt. Zion had strong showings from Jaylan Davidson, who posted seven points, and Avery Butler, who scored six points.

Mt. Zion's loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Mt. Zion wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 40-27 defeat against Ranburne on the 1st. As for Bremen, they have also already played their next game, a 53-45 victory against Cedartown on the 2nd.
