Baseball Recap: Monahans Find Success

Monahans posted their closest win since March 21, 2025 on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Reagan County Owls 7-5. The Loboes have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Owls, too.

Monahans now has a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Monahans will venture away from home to take on Presidio at 2:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Reagan County, they will be taking part in a tournament against Compass Academy at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Owls' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Cougars have averaged an impressive 13.8 runs per game this season.
