Softball Recap: Wolfe County Comes Up Short

Wolfe County came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Letcher County Central Cougars, falling 18-3. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Cougars recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Wolfe County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-6. As for Letcher County Central, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-6.

Coming up, Wolfe County will head out on the road to face off against Powell County at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Letcher County Central has already played their next game (against Belfry), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
