Basketball Recap: Jay Ohm Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat Scottsdale Christian Academy

Arizona Lutheran Academy won the last time they faced Scottsdale Christian Academy and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Coyotes secured a 67-63 W over the Eagles. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Coyotes.

Arizona Lutheran Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jay Ohm out in front who went 7-for-8 to rack up 18 points along with six assists and six rebounds. Those six assists gave Ohm a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Cash Hill, who posted 22 points.

Arizona Lutheran Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Scottsdale Christian Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.

Looking ahead, Arizona Lutheran Academy will venture away from home to take on Glendale Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. The Griffins have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Scottsdale Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Red Rock at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
