Soccer Recap: Festus Takes a Loss

After flying high against DeSoto on Monday, Festus came back down to earth. The Tigers fell just short of the St. Francis Borgia Knights by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday.

Festus has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-4 record this season. As for St. Francis Borgia, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 10-7 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Festus will venture away from home to square off against North County at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for St. Francis Borgia, they will head out to challenge Villa Duchesne at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
