Football Recap: Pine Prairie Takes a Loss

Pine Prairie was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss dating back to last season. They had to suffer through a 67-0 loss at the hands of the Church Point Bears. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Louisiana football rankings (they are ranked 306th, while the Bears are ranked 130th).

Pine Prairie's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Church Point, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Pine Prairie is set to challenge their familiar foe Crowley at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Church Point will take on rival Northwest at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
