Soccer Game Preview: Atlantic Christian vs. Gloucester County Christian

The Atlantic Christian Cougars will face off against the Gloucester County Christian Conquerors at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Atlantic Christian is likely headed into the matchup with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against King's Christian on Tuesday. The Cougars fell just short of the Knights by a score of 1-0. The defeat continues a trend for Atlantic Christian in their meetings with King's Christian: they've now lost four in a row.

Meanwhile, Gloucester County Christian fought the good fight in their overtime match against The Pilgrim Academy on Tuesday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Pioneers by a score of 2-1. It was the first time this season that Gloucester County Christian let down their fans at home.

Their goal came courtesy of Brady Gesin, who's now up to 26 this season.

Gloucester County Christian's loss dropped their record down to 9-5-2. As for Atlantic Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-8-1.
