Volleyball Recap: Evanston Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Evanston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Glenbrook North Spartans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-11.

Glenbrook North's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Morgan Choi, who had nine digs and two assists.

Evanston's defeat dropped their record down to 8-19. As for Glenbrook North, they are on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 23-2 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Evanston will challenge rival Maine South at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Glenbrook North is set to face off against their familiar foe New Trier at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
