Baseball Recap: Ladysmith Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Ladysmith's offense. They came up short against the Northwestern Tigers on Tuesday, falling 11-0. The Lumberjacks have struggled against the Tigers recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost matchup.

Ladysmith's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Northwestern, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-2.

Coming up, Ladysmith will head out to challenge Spooner at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The Rails have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.14 runs per game on average), something the Lumberjacks will no doubt try to take advantage of. Northwestern has already played their next game (against Cameron), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
