Basketball Recap: Elizabeth Takes a Loss

On Monday, the Elizabeth Bulldogs came up short against the Georgetown Bulldogs and fell 77-69.

Elizabeth has traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-12 record this season. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.5 points per game. As for Georgetown, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 18-6.

Elizabeth will host Hicks at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Elizabeth has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 205 points over their last three contests. Georgetown has already played their next game (against Saline), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
