Soccer Recap: Riverdale Takes a Loss

Riverdale was the 1-0 winner over Siegel when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Warriors took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Stars on Tuesday. That's two games in a row now that Riverdale have lost by exactly two goals.

Their goal came courtesy of Kelvin Armstrong, who's now up to six this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Riverdale and nudges their season record down to 8-7-2. As for Siegel, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-7-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Riverdale is set to square off against their familiar foe Oakland at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Siegel will take on rival Blackman at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
