Baseball Recap: Norwich Purple Tornado vs. Susquehanna Valley Sabers

Norwich was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 19th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 19-5 to the Susquehanna Valley Sabers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Sabers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 on Monday.

Zack Parker was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases and three runs. Jaxson Francis also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Norwich's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Susquehanna Valley, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 5-2.
