Baseball Game Preview: Nettleton Tigers vs. Booneville Blue Devils

For the second straight game, Nettleton will face off against Booneville. The Tigers will head out on the road to take on the Blue Devils at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Nettleton is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.9 runs per game this season.

Nettleton heads in on the heels of a playoff matchup on Friday. They fell just short of Booneville by a score of 6-5. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Blue Devils recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Travis Sullivan was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two doubles and one RBI. Another player making a difference was JR Williams, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Booneville is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-12 record this season.
