Football Recap: Monte Vista Falls Short of Morse in the Playoffs + How To Watch

Monte Vista and Morse squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Monte Vista had to settle for second. They were dealt a 50-12 loss at the hands of the Tigers.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Morse to victory, but perhaps none more so than De'Vell Green, who picked up 129 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Alex Smith also helped with two touchdowns in total.

Monte Vista's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Morse, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-4.

Monte Vista does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Morse, they will square off against Hoover at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
