Football Recap: Monte Vista Takes a Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Monte Vista can now relate to. They were beaten by the Morse Tigers 50-12 on Friday.

Morse's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from De'Vell Green, who picked up 129 receiving yards and two TDs. Green also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making six total tackles and defending one pass. Alex Smith was in the mix too, providing Morse with two scores.

Monte Vista's defeat dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Morse, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-4.

Monte Vista does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Morse, they will challenge Hoover at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
