Volleyball Recap: Lincoln Charter Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Lincoln Charter kicked off their season on the road on Tuesday and hit a couple of potholes. They came up short against the South Caldwell Spartans, falling 3-0. Sadly, the loss continues a streak the team started last season, making it six in a row.

While Lincoln Charter was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into South Caldwell's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-17, 25-18.

South Caldwell got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Emi Webb out in front who had ten digs.

South Caldwell has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Lincoln Charter didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against St. Stephens on the 14th. As for South Caldwell, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Patton on the 13th.
