Football Recap: Hallettsville Brahmas vs. Rockport-Fulton Pirates
Hallettsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 28-20 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rockport-Fulton Pirates.
Traey Alvarado was his usual excellent self, rushing for 115 yards and two touchdowns on only 15 carries for Rockport-Fulton.
Hallettsville's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Rockport-Fulton, their record is now 4-2.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hallettsville will face off against Hitchcock at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hitchcock will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Hallettsville surely won't give up without a fight. As for Rockport-Fulton, they will take on Cuero at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Rockport-Fulton is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 28.5 points per game this season.
