After flying high against Davis last Tuesday, Weber came back down to earth. The Weber Warriors fell just short of the Farmington Phoenix by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Warriors of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September.

Weber took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-13, 13-25, 20-25, 25-21, 15-13.

Weber's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Vivian Cruz, who had 14 digs and three aces. That's the most aces Cruz has posted since back in September. The team also got some help courtesy of Tesyn Stewart, who had nine digs.

Kylee Day was a one-man wrecking crew for Farmington as she had 11 digs, four aces, and two kills. Another player making a difference was Callie Curtis, who had seven digs.

Weber now has a losing record at 12-13. As for Farmington, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a massive bump to their 13-12 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Weber and Fremont will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Farmington, they will head out to square off against Layton at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
