Last Thursday, Greeley Central didn't have too much trouble with Mountain View on the road as they won 50-33. The win made it back-to-back wins for Greeley Central.
Greeley Central's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Abdirahman Dahir, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 12 rebounds. Daniel Martinez was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with 4 steals.
Meanwhile, Vista PEAK Prep was fully in charge on Friday, breezing past D'Evelyn 86-53 on the road.
Among those leading the charge was Kyree Polk, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 16 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Alante Monroe-elazier, who scored 19 points along with 6 rebounds.
The opposite results left the teams with opposite records: Greeley Central's victory pushed their record up to 2-0, while Mountain View's loss dropped theirs down to 0-2.
Greeley Central took a serious blow against Vista PEAK Prep in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, falling 63-23. Can Greeley Central avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
