Genoa Area is headed into Saturday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their sixth straight game dating back to last season on Thursday. They lost 15-3 to Defiance.

Meanwhile, Bluffton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They came up short against Carey, falling 7-1. The contest marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Bluffton saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Nathan Speicher, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4.
