Softball Recap: Bryan Comes Up Short

Bryan was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They lost 14-2 to the Copperas Cove Bulldawgs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 14-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Bryan's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Copperas Cove, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-4.

Coincidentally, Bryan and Copperas Cove will both be playing Harker Heights the next time they take the field. Bryan will head out to face Harker Heights at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Copperas Cove will host them at 7:00 p.m. on March 14th.
