Manchester beats Richmond City School of the Arts for their ninth straight win

The Manchester Lancers entered their tilt with the Richmond City School of the Arts Bulldogs with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. Manchester beat Richmond City School of the Arts on Friday by the very same score they won with last week: 61-8. Considering Manchester has won seven matchups by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Manchester's win was their fifth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 9-1. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.6 points per game. As for Richmond City School of the Arts, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-7.
Manchester will head out on the road to face off against Cosby at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cosby will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings (they are ranked 182nd, while Manchester is ranked 37th). Richmond City School of the Arts does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
