Football Recap: Blue Ridge/DeLand-Weldon Takes a Loss

Blue Ridge/DeLand-Weldon lost against Martinsville back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Knights were beaten by the Bluestreaks 44-6.

Blue Ridge/DeLand-Weldon's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Martinsville, they pushed their record up to 3-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Blue Ridge/DeLand-Weldon will venture away from home to challenge St. Thomas More at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. This will be the Knights' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Martinsville, they will host Hutsonville/Palestine at 7:00 p.m. on October 4.
