DeMorris McKenzie Game Report: vs Austin-East

Passers beware: DeMorris McKenzie came down with his first-ever interception on Friday and he's no doubt on the hunt for more. He also made five total tackles, helping propel South-Doyle past Austin-East by a score of 52-30. We hope Friday's contest is the first of many we'll see posted here as the season progresses.

Coming up, McKenzie and South-Doyle are headed away from home for the first time to take on Karns at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cherokees closed last season having struggled on the road and they will enter the game having lost three straight away games dating back to last season.
