Basketball Recap: Justin Garza Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

Justin Garza had won two straight games and Auburn Santos did her part to make it three on Saturday. The Guardians came out on top against the South Spartans by a score of 42-30 thanks in part to Santos, who posted 22 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Justin Garza's points.

Justin Garza's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for South, they are on a 16-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Looking ahead, Justin Garza will hit the road for the first time this season to face off against Washington Union at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for South, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Tulare Union at 2:00 p.m. on December 3.
