Soccer Recap: William Blount Comes Up Short

William Blount was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 4-0 to the Farragut Admirals. That's two games in a row now that William Blount have lost by exactly four goals.

William Blount's defeat dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Farragut, their victory bumped their record up to 10-0-1.

William Blount and Farragut should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings. The Governors will take on Anderson County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (102 vs. 254). Meanwhile, Farragut (ranked eighth) will meet Hardin Valley Academy (ranked 45th) at 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
