On Tuesday, the Sheffield Knights were beaten by the Freedom Prep Academy Eagles 55-16. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Sheffield lost, don't look at Candelaria Lopez. Despite the final result, she posted four points. Lopez has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last six times she's played. Another player making a difference was D'Zire Hamilton, who earned four points.

Sheffield's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Freedom Prep Academy, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-3.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Bluff City the next time they take the court. Freedom Prep Academy will host Bluff City at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Sheffield will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
