Basketball Recap: Hoosac Comes Up Short

Hoosac was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 91-53 loss at the hands of the Green Tech Eagles.

Green Tech was led to victory by Ramere Brown and Indavier Barnes. Brown went 11 for 18 on his way to 30 points, while Barnes went 7 of 8 en route to 20 points and three steals. That's the most points Barnes has posted since back in March of 2024. U'Mier Graham was another key player, putting up seven points and six boards.

Hoosac's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Green Tech, the victory got them back to even at 6-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hoosac has already played their next match (against Winchendon), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Green Tech will challenge Long Island Lutheran at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.
