Volleyball Recap: Lakeland Now 5-1 over Last Six Games

While Lakeland didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-18), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They came out on top against the Southampton Academy Raiders by a score of 2-0 on Saturday.

Lakeland has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season. As for Southampton Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 6-6-1.

Lakeland has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Summit Christian Academy on the 13th. As for Southampton Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Cave Spring on the 13th.
